PM10 PARTICULATE REDUCTION ANALYSIS SUMMARY
OH-FEEL 500F08
NCSR “Demokritos” — Atmospheric Chemistry & Innovative Technologies Laboratory
1. Testing Facility Credibility
The Atmospheric Chemistry & Innovative Technologies Laboratory of the National Centre for Scientific
Research (NCSR) “Demokritos” is one of Greece’s leading government research institutions, specializing
in air quality analysis, atmospheric chemistry, and particulate matter monitoring.
All PM10 measurements were conducted by authorized laboratory personnel using certified and
calibrated instrumentation in accordance with European testing standards.
2. Description of the Test
- Test Method: CEN/TS 16450:2013
- Device Tested: OH-FEEL OH500F08
- Test Environment: Isolated indoor environment (18 m²)
- Operating Mode: Maximum continuous output
- Monitoring Equipment: GRIMM 1.108 calibrated particle counter
- Test Duration: 27 hours of continuous operation
Initial PM10 concentration levels were recorded prior to activation of the device.
Following activation of the OH-FEEL system at maximum output, PM10 concentrations were
continuously monitored throughout the full duration of the experiment.
3. Key Results
Initial PM10 concentration (pre-operation average):
- 19.4 μg/m³
Final PM10 concentration after 27 hours of operation:
- 10.6 μg/m³
Net Reduction:
- PM10 reduced from 19.4 μg/m³ to 10.6 μg/m³
- Overall reduction rate: 45.4%
4. Summary Statement
The results confirm that the OH-FEEL OH500F08 provides measurable and sustained reduction of fine particulate matter (PM10) in a controlled indoor environment. Continuous operation led to improved air quality through active particulate removal.
