OH-Feel 500A – TVOC & Formaldehyde Purification Test Summary
OH-FEEL 500A
Guangdong Detection Center of Microbiology – JG/T 294-2010
1. Testing Facility Credibility
The Guangdong Detection Center of Microbiology (Gmicro) is a CNAS- and ILAC-MRA–accredited, government-operated laboratory recognized internationally for environmental, chemical, and microbial testing. Gmicro’s results are accepted for regulatory submissions, air quality evaluation, and product performance verification worldwide.
2. Description of Tests Conducted
Testing followed JG/T 294-2010, evaluating TVOC and formaldehyde purification efficiency in a controlled 30 m³ chamber.
Pollutants Tested:
- Formaldehyde (HCHO)
- Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOC)
Procedure:
- Initial pollutant concentration measured at 0h.
- Chamber sealed and the OH-Feel hydroxyl generator operated for 1 hour.
- Natural decay was recorded in a blank chamber to calculate net purification efficiency.
3. Key Results
Formaldehyde (HCHO) Reduction:
- Control chamber natural decay: 0.9%
- Initial concentration: 1.16 mg/m³
- After 1 hour with OH-Feel: 0.18 mg/m³
- Total decay: 84.3%
- Net purification efficiency: 83.4%
TVOC Reduction:
- Control chamber natural decay: 1.0%
- Initial concentration: 4.80 mg/m³
- After 1 hour with OH-Feel: 1.02 mg/m³
- Total decay: 78.8%
- Net purification efficiency: 77.8%
Overall Result: The OH-Feel Hydroxyl Air Protection System achieved strong chemical purification performance, removing formaldehyde by 83.4% and TVOC by 77.8% within one hour in a 30 m³ chamber.
