OH-Feel 500A – Airborne H1N1 Flu Virus Reduction Test

SUMMARY

OH-FEEL 500A

Guangdong Detection Center of Microbiology – GB 21551.3-2010 Appendix A

1. Testing Facility Credibility

The Guangdong Detection Center of Microbiology (Gmicro) is a government-operated laboratory with international accreditation from CNAS and ILAC-MRA. It is widely recognized as one of China’s most authoritative microbiological testing institutions, specializing in virology, environmental microbiology, and air purification performance testing. Its reports are accepted internationally for regulatory submission and scientific verification.

2. Description of Tests Conducted

Testing was conducted in accordance with GB 21551.3-2010 (Appendix A), using Influenza A (H1N1), strain A/PR/8/34, propagated in MDCK cells.

A sealed 30 m³ test chamber was used. The OH-Feel Hydroxyl Air Protection System was operated at maximum wind speed (level 5), with 0H1 and 0H2 modes activated for a continuous 2-hour treatment period.

Airborne virus particles were quantified using the TCID method. Three control samples were collected at 0 hours, and three test samples were collected after 2 hours of operation. Natural viral decay was mathematically removed to ensure that all observed reductions were attributed solely to the OH-Feel system.

3. Key Results

Initial airborne H1N1 concentration (0-hour control):

  • 1.73 × 105 TCID/m³
  • 1.44 × 105 TCID/m³
  • 2.44 × 105 TCID/m³

After 2 hours of OH-Feel operation:

  • 2.44 × 103 TCID/m³ → 99.17% reduction
  • 1.94 × 103 TCID/m³ → 99.37% reduction
  • 4.06 × 103 TCID/m³ → 99.21% reduction

Average H1N1 removal rate: 99.25%

4. Summary Statement

The results demonstrate that the OH-Feel Hydroxyl Air Protection System effectively eliminates airborne H1N1 influenza virus under controlled environmental conditions, achieving near-total viral removal within a two-hour treatment period.
