OH-FEEL 500A – E. COLI AIRBORNE BACTERICIDAL TEST
SUMMARY
OH-FEEL 500A
Guangdong Detection Center of Microbiology – GB 21551.3-2010 Appendix A
1. Testing Facility Credibility
The Guangdong Detection Center of Microbiology (Gmicro) is a government-operated laboratory with CNAS and ILAC-MRA international accreditation. It is one of China’s leading microbiological testing centers, recognized globally for air purification, antimicrobial, and environmental testing. Its certifications are widely accepted in Europe, Asia, and international product compliance reviews.
2. Description of Tests Conducted
Testing followed GB 21551.3-2010 Appendix A for evaluating bactericidal performance of air-cleaning devices. The test organism was Escherichia coli (strain 8099).
A 30 m³ chamber was conditioned, and the OH-Feel Hydroxyl Air Protection System was operated at maximum airflow (“0H1, 0H2” modes) for 2 hours. Air samples were collected using a JWL-6 six-stage microbial air impact sampler at 28.3 L/min. Control samples were collected for 1 minute, while test samples were taken for 5 minutes.
Natural microbial decay was mathematically removed to ensure that all reductions observed were caused solely by the OH-Feel device.
3. Summary of Test Findings
Initial Airborne E. coli Concentration (0h control):
- 9.9 × 104 cfu/m³
- 9.3 × 104 cfu/m³
- 9.7 × 104 cfu/m³
After 2 Hours of OH-Feel Operation:
- 8.2 × 102 cfu/m³ → 97.95% reduction
- 9.6 × 102 cfu/m³ → 97.33% reduction
- 8.5 × 102 cfu/m³ → 98.09% reduction
Average Sterilization Rate: 97.79%
4. Summary Statement
These results confirm that the OH-Feel Hydroxyl Air Protection System delivered significant airborne bactericidal performance in a controlled 30 m³ environment, achieving nearly complete removal of E. coli within a 2-hour treatment window.
